Forensic Consulting:

After a general review of the case, LCI will craft a legal ESI collection strategy based on three criteria: Court’s Orders (if applicable), defensibility, and cost. For matters that require and warrant the cost of a full forensic preservation, LCI will coordinate the resources to efficiently respond and supervise the operation. For matters that may only require a self-collection by you or your Client – and not the cost of a full preservation - LCI will help craft a self- collection protocol and consult with local IT staff to ensure that it is complete. For these situations and everything in between, LCI can help you navigate the process efficiently and with confidence.
Early Data Assessment (EDA):
After collection of electronically stored information (ESI), the EDA process allows quick, web-enabled investigation into your case data. This investigative phase gives the case team the ability to account for every file, quickly cull this data down, and export only the most potentially relevant documents prior to a full review and production. While helping keep discovery costs down, this process also allows the refinement of key terms while you are working with your data.
Processing:
Potentially responsive documents from collection and/or the EDA process are extracted into and easily searchable and reviewable form. This data can be loaded into either local platforms such as Summation or Concordance, or into a web-hosted review platform such as XERA, iConect NXT or Relativity.
Hosted Review:
After processing, your potentially responsive documents can be hosted for review in iConect NXT, XERA, or Relativity, providing 24/7, fully secure access to the documents from any Internet connection in the world. Each of these industry-leading platforms have tools that facilitate searching, tagging, notes and collaboration. When review is complete, your documents can be produced electronically in a multitude of formats to meet any Court or Agency ESI production specification.
